Product Overview
HPE Aruba Networking 670 Series Outdoor Access Points are high-performance Wi-Fi 6E APs ideal for outdoor and environmentally challenging locations. Provide secure and reliable connectivity in large outdoor open areas, such as stadiums and public venues with weatherproof high-performance Wi-Fi 6E APs.
Wi-Fi 6E performance
Improve Wi-Fi performance using the 6 GHz band for faster speeds and wider channels. Tri-band coverage across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz delivers 3.9 Gbps maximum aggregate data rate supports high-bandwidth, low-latency applications such as high-definition video.
Ruggedized for outdoors
Withstand extreme high and low temperatures, persistent moisture, and precipitation. Fully sealed to keep out airborne contaminants and electrical interfaces including industrial-strength surge protection. Available with choice of internal antenna (omni, directional, or point-to-point) to optimize wireless coverage.
IoT ready
Deploy and manage enterprise and industrial IoT, including asset tracking services, security solutions, and sensors, with integrated high-power Bluetooth and 802.15.4 radios for Zigbee support. Advanced IoT Coexistence (AIC) helps Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Zigbee radios operate at maximum capacity without interference.
Location aware
Protect incumbent outdoor services via self-locating embedded GPS receivers that operate as Standard Power (SP) devices, requiring an Automated Frequency Coordination service (AFC).
Efficient and secure
Extend the 802.11ax standard to the 6GHz band, including efficiency and security enhancements such as orthogonal frequency-division multiple access (OFDMA), multi-user MIMO, enhanced open, and WPA3 with Wi-Fi 6E. The 670 Series APs also offers client optimization, automated radio frequency management, and intelligent power monitoring.
